Kathleen "Kathy" Stevens

Kathleen “Kathy” Stevens, 67, of Newton Falls, Ohio perished in a fire at her residence on Saturday, March 12, 2022.  Her companion dog, Coco, lying beside her, also perished.  Kathy was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 21, 1954, the daughter of Richard Schmidt and June Barna. 

Kathy had been employed by KraftMaid for a number of years until she sustained an injury.  Kathy would relocate to Tennessee, returning to this area fifteen years ago making Newton Falls her home.

Kathy is survived by her five children, Theresa Little, Patricia Sinley, Garrett Little, Jr., Robert Little and Jason Holland; her brothers, Rick Schmidt and Ron Schmidt; her sister, Doreen Mitchell; her seven grandchildren, Miranda Little, Macayla Westover, Justin Sinley, Nick Sinley, Matthew Sinley, Jacob Little and Abbigail Little and her five great grandchildren, Jayden Little, Tessa Fleeger, Cain Fleeger, Bradley Watson, Jr. and Maxwell Sinley.

Preceding Kathleen in death were her parents.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, where a service will follow.
