Leo Duane Hays, 88, of Belpre, OH formerly of Wirt County, passed away October 19, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 4, 1927, in Wood County, a son of the late Wilbur B. and Fannie M. Mills Hays. He was a retired insulator and a member of the International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local 80. He is survived by his son Michael Hays (Janey Ott) of Parkersburg; daughter Sharon Hardman (John) of Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren Aaron Hardman (Stephanie), Justin Hardman (Kayla), Chelsea Westfall, and Kristen Hardman; five great grandchildren and a brother Webb Hays of Vienna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Ann Hays; sisters Leone Lemon, Glenna Olanda, and Delta Hinkle; brothers John Hays and Delbert Craft. It was his request to have no visitation or services. His remains will be buried at Rockland Cemetery Belpre.
