Paulette Zirpoli

Paulette Zirpoli (nee Scriffignano), 63, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on March 16, 2022, after a long brave battle with ALS.
Born in Belleville, Paulette grew up in Newark where she met the love of her life at the age of 13. Married in 1980, Stephen and Paulette eventually settled into their forever home with their children in West Caldwell. A 1976 graduate of Our Lady of Good Counsel, she went on to get her degree as a Medical Assistant. She worked as HR and office manager of the Verona Animal Hospital for over 30 years. Her true passion in life was developed through her gift and ability to serve others, making everyone she met feel special. With her beautiful smile and contagious laugh, along with her spirit of hospitality, Paulette touched the lives of everyone she met.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Paul and Pauline Scriffignano.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 41 years, Stephen G. Zirpoli; devoted children, Stephanie Rosant and her husband Robert and Daniel Zirpoli; loving grandsons, Cole, Ty, and Luca; cherished twin sister, Paula Scriffignano; caring siblings, Roanne Previti and her husband Michael and Dr. Anthony Scriffignano; dear sister-in-law, Liz Scriffignano. Also surviving are a host of many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Monday from 3 pm through 8 pm at The Life Christian Church, 747 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. The family would love for you to join for a Celebration of Life Service at 7 pm. On Tuesday, friends and relatives may gather at 10:30 am in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A prayer service will begin at 11:30 am with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ.
