<p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp; &nbsp;Shirley Faye Howard, 69 of Grays Knob, KY passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday March 16, 2022 at the Hospice Care Unit of the University of Kentucky Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Shirley was born December 23, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Roy and Ida Gatliff Cundiff. She was a homemaker and member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Cawood.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Burgan; sister in law, Janie Howard.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William &quot;Bill&quot; Howard; children, Bill (Candy) Howard and Katina (Rufus) Hendrix; grandchildren, Allie (Aaron) Jones, Ryan (Chelsea) Howard; Madison Hendrix, Drew (Sidney) Howard, Bailey Hendrix, and Hannah Howard; 3 great grandchildren, Rayna Jones, Kadence Woods, and Wrenly Howard; sisters, Judy (Jim) Abston and Joyce Prince; brother in law, Bob Howard; special friend, Linda Barrett; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her&nbsp;passing.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday (March 18) at the Anderson-Laws &amp; Jones Funeral Home.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm Friday (March 18) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws &amp; Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; Burial will be at 11:00 am (March 19) at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY. Family and friends are asked to meet just prior to the service time at the cemetery chapel.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; Pallbearers will be Drew Howard, Ryan Howard, Brian Howard, Dakota Irvin, Wyatt Rossi, Brent Bargo, Mark Shepherd, and Chris Brewer.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; Please feel free to leave a condolence, memory, or photo at www.aljfh.com<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong><em>Anderson-Laws &amp; Jones Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Shirley Faye Howard.</em></strong></span></p>

I'm so sorry for the family's loss shirley was a beautiful lady I lived close to her in grays knob for a few years I always loved talking to her she was a very nice lady and she will be missed by many. God give her family strength thru the days and years ahead.
