Mrs. Karen Lynn Johnson Bauguess, 61, of Moravian Falls, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home.

Karen was born on July 19, 1960 in Hartford County, Maryland to Earnest Johnson and Shirley Gaynell Stout. 

Karen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Stout Kearns; husband, James Walter Bauguess and sister, Faith Welborn.   

Karen is survived by her father, Earnest Johnson and wife, Sherri McKenzie of Frederick, Maryland; daughters, Ashleigh Bauguess of Moravian Falls, Amy Pierce of Lexington; sons, James Baugess Jr. and wife, Shannon of Moravian Falls, David Johnson of Winston-Salem; sisters, Charlotte “Susie” Hundley and husband, Scott of Lewisville, Rochelle Biggs of Maryland, 11 grandchildren and many family and friends.

The family will conduct a service at a later date.
