THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF MARGUERITE BADAMO.<br><br>OAKVILLE – Marguerite (Giannini) Badamo, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Waterbury Hospital on March 10, 2022.<br><br>Marguerite was born on October 19, 1929 in Oakville, the daughter of the late Matteo and Agnes (Longo) Giannini. She attended local schools, and than became a loving and dedicated housewife. Marguerite enjoyed reading, taking trips to the casino and playing pokeno. She was known for the delicious apple pies that she used to make but what Marguerite loved the most was to spend time with her family. <br><br>Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, are her daughters; Donna (Brian) Vance, and Helene Wright, her sons; Peter Generali, Domenic Badamo, and Jeffrey (Dolores) Badamo, her sister, Helene Zibello, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as her nieces, nephews and extended family. Marguerite was predeceased by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. <br><br>Funeral Services for Mrs. Badamo will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at O’Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville, CT 06779. Burial will be held privately. Relatives and friends may visit with Marguerite’s family on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, to honor Marguerite’s memory, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
