BROCK --- Funeral services for William O. "Bill" Brock, Jr., age 90, of Jacksonville, FL will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Brock was born on August 15, 1926 in Austin, TX to William O. Brock, Sr. and Ellen Wallace Brock. He passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He honorably served in the US Army and was a member of and former deacon at 103rd Street Baptist Church. Bill was also a devoted volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife of 61 years, Gertrude "Trudy" Brock; a son, Richard "Rick" Brock; and a daughter, Carol Stubbs. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Peggy Brunson Brock and her children, William Brunson (Tabitha) and Mary Halliday (Dave); and a daughter-in-law, Margie Brock (Gerald Garvey); a son-in-law, John Stubbs; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
