<p>It is with heavy hearts and the greatest of sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jean-Pierre Couture (JP) while at work in Thompson Manitoba on February 21, 2022 at the age of 60. </p><p><br></p><p>JP was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick on May 11, 1961. He was the oldest child of Phillip and Mona Couture. JP was a miner from the age of 18 and moved to Thompson in 2003 where he started working for Alex MacIntyre. One year later he met the love of his life Brenda Jean. They quickly fell in love and Thompson has been his home ever since. </p><p><br></p><p>JP also loved to drive his motorcycle, cook/barbeque, fish, camp, go for walks and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Go Leafs Go! JP held his family dear to his heart and he will be greatly missed. </p><p><br></p><p>JP was pre-deceased by his father Phillip Couture. </p><p><br></p><p>JP leaves to mourn his mother Mona Couture; his life partner Brenda Henderson; Siblings: Nicole (Jean), Jacques, Natalie (Denis); Children: Samantha (Brad), Jordan (Courtney); Step-children: Robin (Shane), Bonnie; Grandchildren: Kristen, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Chase, Jaxon, Odin, Great-Granddaughter Hannah; Niece: Julie and Nephew: Jean-Phillip, along with aunts, uncles and friends from near and far.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at St. James Anglican Church, 10 Caribou Road at 1:00pm. Officiated by Pastor Chris Lowe. All are welcome to attend.</p><p><br></p>
