To everything there is a season and time to every purpose under the heaven&rdquo;</p> <p>A Time To Be Born:&nbsp; Derryl Buckles was born September 17, 1962 in Houston County, Georgia to the parentage of Annie Mae Buckles and the late Arthur Gene Buckles.<br /> A Time To Plant:&nbsp; Derryl spent most of his life in Perry where he was also educated. He believed in God and had a love for gospel music in which his favorite artists were Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs and The Canton Spirituals.<br /> A Time To Build:&nbsp; After graduating from Perry High in 1981, Derryl spent 8 years in the United States Army as an Armor Crewman. He also worked for the Houston County Water Department for 12 years as well as at RAFB.&nbsp; Anyone that knew Derryl, knew that he was a jack of all trades, and he took pride in his work.<br /> A Time To Love: The joys of his life were his family and friends, especially his grandson, Jacob, whom he affectionally called &ldquo;Stick&rdquo; and his niece, Courtney, whom he affectionately called &ldquo;Beave&rdquo;.<br /> A Time Of Peace:&nbsp; As he was quietly called home to rest on the morning of&nbsp; March 6, the legacy of Derryl&rsquo;s life was left with his Mother: Annie Mae Buckles of&nbsp; Perry, GA;&nbsp; Daughter and grandson: Gia &amp; Jacob Buckles of Warner Robins, GA; Sister: Angela Buckles-Cherry (Johnny) of Perry, GA; Brother: Roderick Hill of Perry, GA; Aunts: Ruby Williams and Mamie Williams of Warner Robins, GA, Fannie Hyter of Alabama, Marva Hardnett and Lillian Black of Perry, GA; Uncles: Ernest (Mildred) Roquemore of Ft. Valley, GA, Michael Roquemore of Warner Robins, GA;&nbsp; Nephew: Kesi (Shemicka) Buckles of Lewisville, TX; Nieces: Courtney Perry of Perry, GA, Melanie (Jerald) Hurd of Athens, TX; Christan Blanton of Dallas, Texas; Isabella and Scarlett Hill of Hawkinsville, GA: a host of great nieces and great nephews and 3 dearly devoted and treasured friends: Alfred &ldquo;Rat&rdquo; Harris, King Lundy and Ricky Jackson.</p>

A Time To Be Born:  Derryl Buckles was born September 17, 1962 in Houston County, Georgia to the parentage of Annie Mae Buckles and the late Arthur Gene Buckles.
A Time To Plant:  Derryl spent most of his life in Perry where he was also educated. He believed in God and had a love for gospel music in which his favorite artists were Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs and The Canton Spirituals.
A Time To Build:  After graduating from Perry High in 1981, Derryl spent 8 years in the United States Army as an Armor Crewman.
