Michael T. Amoruso, Jr.
<p>Michael T. Amoruso Jr., age 29, tragically passed on Sunday, February 27, 2022. From his birth on October 12, 1992, in Port Chester, NY, Michael was always incredibly smart, funny and had the kindest heart. He attended Westlake Middle School and High School where he was an integral part of the cross-country and golf team. After graduating in 2010, Michael went on to Drexel University in Philadelphia with a full academic scholarship to pursue both his Bachelor and Master’s degree in computer engineering. In 2015, Michael began to work at Sunhillo Corporation as a Hardware Engineer and accomplished multiple projects including one that will change the safety of planes forever. Michael was always the life of the party and enjoyed being able to spend time with his family, his lifelong friends, golfing, sports betting and cooking. Some of his fondest memories were being able to watch his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the New York Jets alongside his father; as well as always being able to put a smile on the faces of his mother, little brother and younger sisters. He is survived by his Father Michael T. Amoruso Sr., his mother Stephanie Silverman, his sisters Kessondra Amoruso and Jessica Amoruso, his brother Christopher Conti, his stepmother Laura Boyce, and stepfather Patrick Conti. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, John and Sue Amoruso, Frank and Dona Amoruso, Tommy and Dawn Amoruso, Adam and Dina Cangin, Michelle Amoruso, his godfather Robert Gomez, as well as, his cousins, Carole-Anne, Nicholas, Mark, Christine, Joanne, Erik, JJ, Elizabeth, Sammi, Roberto, Ashley, Nick, Megan, Amanda and Robert.
