It is with great sadness the family of the Late John Mills announce his passing on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at North Haven Manor Seniors Citizen's Home in Lewisporte, NL. John will always be remembered for his kindness, strength resilience and never ending love for his family. John was born in Birchy Bay on September 18th, 1938 to the Late Simon and Lorena Mills. <br><br>In Addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Louise and his former wife Betty.<br><br>Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife, Marie; son Ronnie (Shelly),daughter Rosalyn (Paul), son Roger (Melanie) and stepsons Nelson and Jimmy (Robyn).<br><br>He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jason (Nova), Jessica, Joshua, Mackenzie and Ty, and great-grandson Luca; sisters, Betty (Jim), Becky (Reg), Beryl (George), Joan, Marjorie and Glennis. <br><br>Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm from Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte. A private family funeral will take place on Thursday at 1pm with cremation to follow. <br><br>Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Church Building Fund in Comfort Cove. <br>Obituary
