Lynda K. Vogler

<p>Mrs. Lynda K. (Webb) Vogler, age 83, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Russell and Thelma (Ensminger) Webb Cortelyou, was born on November 18, 1938, in Shelbyville, Indiana. After graduating from Shelbyville High School, she obtained her associate&#39;s degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1957 and attended Franklin College for a period of time. On October 1, 1958, she was united in marriage to James Vogler in Madison. For 23 years, she worked as an executive assistant and legal secretary at Hanover College. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bridge, reading, traveling, doing genealogy, gardening, and was an avid fan of Indiana University Basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Chicago Cubs. Mrs. Vogler passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at her residence in Madison.</p> <p>Her life will be cherished by her children: Melinda (Mark) Heinritz, of Madison, Wisconsin, and Eric Vogler of Kralendijk, Bonaire; and her grandson, Sullivan Heinritz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Vogler.</p> <p>The Reverend Mary Slenski will conduct funeral services at 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Christ Episcopal Church, in downtown Madison with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022.</p> <p>The family requests memorial contributions be made to Stephens College or Christ Episcopal Church.
