Ricard Von Sanders was born on September 26, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended Hirschi High School and later received Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology training in Los Angeles, CA.  He  worked as a waiter, a janitor and a overall handyman. 
Ricky loved working on his truck, bicycles, installing stereos, tinting windows, refinishing furniture, landscaping and doing electrical work.
Ricky never met a stranger, he would find someone to hold a conversation with. He loved helping anyone in need.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Nehemiah Bible Based Church.
Ricky was preceded in death by; his step father, Noah Roberts, his nephew, Melvin Roger Gilliam, his aunt and uncle, Matthew and Bertha Wesley, uncle, Ronald Ray Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Martha Marie Roberts of Wichita Falls, TX., his father, James Floyd Goodson of Wilmington, NC.,  his daughter Lakiesha Denise Choice of Mesquite, TX., his grandchildren; Isaiah Choice, Caleb Choice, Emmanuel Choice and Jacob Choice. His sisters; Valorie Sanders and Camille (Rev. Allen) Smith of Wichita Falls, TX., his brother, Eric (Niecola) Roberts of Los Angeles, CA., his uncles, James Green of Wichita Falls, TX. and Lonnie Roberts of San Antonio, TX., and aunts, Judy Mayberry, Martha Rose Williams and Donna Kay Roberts of San Antonio, TX. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
