Funeral services for Thelma Soegiarto, a resident of Centreville, will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service. Mrs. Soegiarto passed away Monday May 22, 2017 at Reston Hospital Center. Thelma M. Soegiarto was born July 5, 1934 in Purcellville, VA the eldest child of Robert and Helen Wright. Mrs. Soegiarto worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy for many years and attended the Sully Senior Center regularly after retiring. She was an instrumental part of the senior center's monthly donation of stuffed bears to the pediatric unit at Fair Oaks Hospital. She is survived by her children; Beverly Hall-VA, Wayne Soegiarto-MD, Ray Milburn-MD and John Milburn-VA; two grandchildren, Stephanie Townsend and Tyler Soegiarto; and four siblings, Nancy Wright, George Wright, Barbara Olsen and Roy Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband Tato Soegiarto, October 2000 and her brother Fred Wright, April 2017.
