Robert Clayton Frausel passed away on February 15th at the age of 58 after a short battle with Cancer. His loved ones were by his side. There will be a Celebration of Life held for Rob at the Royal Canadian Legion, Revelstoke on Saturday, February 26th.   All are welcome to come and go between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to celebrate Rob’s life.

Rob was born in Revelstoke in 1963 where he remained his entire life. He was predeceased by his parents Dave and Audrey Frausel, his brother Johnny, nephew Mike and niece Candice, his father-in-law Tony Coueffin and brother-in-law Dale Coueffin. Rob is survived by his common-law spouse Teresa Thomspon, her daughter Gail Hollenberg, and her children Kenzie (Donghan) Kim and Colten; sisters: Louise Leithwood, Pam (Chuck) Lockhurst, Dorraine Boucher, Julie (Paul) Plummer, Carol Ann Frausel; sisters in-law: Carol (Rick) Vigue, Kathy (Bill) Markstrom, Rhonda (Glen) Vansicle; brother in-law Shane Coueffin and mother-in-law Gracia Coueffin, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rob worked for Kozek Sawmills since the age of 18.  He was an extremely hard worker and, often, when he wasn’t at work, he could be found doing wood, shoveling people roofs and randomly building sheds and flower boxes. Some of Rob’s favourite pastimes included huckleberry picking, playing horseshoes, going to the Legion meat draws, baking and family Sunday Fundays. Baseball was a lost passion his knees gave way to, but he had many great memories of.  He was a big teddy bear that was loved by many.  He loved nothing more than his grandchildren Kenzie and Colten and his early morning drives with his bestie and cousin Tom Vigue. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
