Obituary
Ian Fraser Mackintosh passed away peacefully at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, at the age of 77 years.

Ian was born in Kamloops, B.C. on March 24, 1944, and had been a resident of Revelstoke for over 35 years. He was a well-known and much-loved resident of the Eighth Street Group Home. Ian loved life and coffee. He was an avid Revelstoke Grizzlies fan. He enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash, eating at Emo’s Restaurant and watching Ice Road Truckers. Ian always had a smile on his face, was very affectionate and loved all the “girls”. He was very proud of his family and quick to say “I love you” to every one of them.
Ian was predeceased by his parents Alastair and Florence and will be interned with them. He is survived by three siblings: Dawn (Herb) Fallow of Kelowna, Doug (Jackie) Mackintosh of Vernon and Gord (Diana) Mackintosh of Salmon Arm; nieces & nephews: Sherry (Robert), Allison (Rob), Jason (Dawn), Trent (Debbie), Michele (Orin) and Ryan (Stephanie) as well as his Eighth Street Group Home family.
Ian’s family would like to thank Dr. Macdonald, Dr. Molder and all the staff at Queen Victoria Hospital, Kelly, Jessie, Jenna and the staff at the Eighth Street Group Home as well as Gary & Chrissie Sulz.
