Sorrowfully we announce the death of Forrest Matthew Crider (38) on Aug 20 at Bassett Va. He is survived by his mother Carolyn Crider Doss (Reuben) and father Henry Crider (Tonya), sons Brayden, Colton, and Cameron, sister Hannah Stowe (Matt), niece Crider Stowe, grandmother Barbara Pickeral, stepbrother Andrew Doss, aunt Nancy Shumate (Harvey), uncle Andy Pickeral (Anne), fiancée Ashleigh Burnette, a number of cousins and relatives, and his beloved dog Harley. Forrest was born Dec 30, 1982, at Danville, Va. He graduated from Gretna High School in 2001. He excelled in baseball, loved all sports, hunting, and fishing, and spending time with his boys, cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and friends, who loved him and will miss him.
