He drove trucks, hauling large loads out of the woods. As a husband and father, he provided for his family through honest, hard-working means.</span></span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">In the morning hours of Friday, February 11, 2022, the Lord saw fit for him to take his rest. He traded his earthly home for a mansion in the sky. He is at Peace now, resting at the hem of the Savior&rsquo;s garment. He was preceded in death by his parents.</span></span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">He leaves to cherish his memory, six children: Lynn (Jorodie) Palmer, Leonard (Chaquitia) Pogue, III, Brian Pogue and Timothy Pogue all of Foley, AL; Monique (Charles) Miller of Tallahassee, FL; Trovanise Lyons of Pensacola, FL; one sister: Marilyn Pogue of Bay Minette, AL; twenty-four grandchildren; eight great grand-children; four aunts: Virginia (George) Taylor, Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Bertha Norman of Sasser, GA; Johnnie Mae Norman and Mary Norman both of Atmore, AL; two devoted cousins: Sarah Pogue Williams and William O&rsquo;Neal Thomas; several devoted friends: Tina Davis, Ivory Harvey, Judy Williams, Mickey Day, David Moorer, Wilmon Sanders, Frank Mims, Ivory Mims, Eugene Barnes, Keith Barnes, Curtis Bradley, Joshua Stevens, Michael Adams, Sr. and Gene Phillips; a host of other loved relatives and many friends.</span></span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

THE OBITUARY

Brother Leonard Pogue, Jr. was born in May 6, 1956, to the late Leonard Pogue and Daisy Norman Pogue in Baldwin County, AL.

 

He attended school and took on a job as a young man, working in the Pulpwood Industry. He drove trucks, hauling large loads out of the woods. As a husband and father, he provided for his family through honest, hard-working means.

 

In the morning hours of Friday, February 11, 2022, the Lord saw fit for him to take his rest. He traded his earthly home for a mansion in the sky. He is at Peace now, resting at the hem of the Savior’s garment. He was preceded in death by his parents.
