Daniel R. Hiday, 58, of Portland passed away Monday February 7, 2022, at IU health in Jay County. He was born on September 5, 1963, in Anderson to the late Roy and Katherine (Snellenbarger) Hiday Jr.

 

Daniel was a 1982 graduate of Highland High School. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and camping. Daniel was an avid gun collector and loved building and repairing fence.

 

He is survived by his brother, Mike Hiday of Anderson; partner of 30 years, Kippy Lanier of Portland; stepson Jason Fletcher; stepdaughter, Gloria Lyons; two grandsons, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents Daniel is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Phillips and Debra Hiday.
