<p>Tony Frank Roberts passed away suddenly on February 5, 2022 at the age of 68.</p> <p>Tony was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Doug and Edith Roberts. He grew up in Holladay, UT with his six siblings. He married the love of his life Dorthy (Dot) Nielson Roberts on May 13, 1976 in the Manti Temple. They settled down in Draper, UT to raise their 3 children Rachel, Erin and Wesley.</p> <p>Tony worked for Salt Lake City Fire Department for 35 years and retired young at the age of 55. Shortly after he and Dot moved to Oak City where he picked up farming and many other hobbies. He loved helping out wherever he could and enjoyed serving others. Tony felt a large sense of purpose in Oak City and was loved by the town.</p> <p>Tony loved the outdoors. He loved taking his family on camping trips and teaching them about nature and different survival skills. He really enjoyed his hunting trips and spending time with boys. Tony lived for his grandchildren. He loved taking them on tractor rides and sharing his knowledge and hobbies with them. Tony was the best Papa you could ever ask for to his little Zyrek (6), James (5) and Ellie (2) and was really looking forward to meeting the newest bun in the oven.</p> <p>Tony is preceded in death by his parents Doug and Edith Roberts. Dot&rsquo;s parents Vern and Clara Nielson and brother in law Gary Nielson. He is survived by his loving wife Dot Roberts, children Rachel, Erin and Wesley (Hailey) Roberts and grandchildren Zyrek, James, Ellie and baby on the way.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held in the Oak City Chapel, 35 West Center St. in Oak City, UT 84649 on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM (noon).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
