It is with profound sorrow the family of Richard Stephens announces his passing from this earthly world. Richard Leslie Stephens was born to Charles “Roy” and Dixie Stephens on 12/21/1967 and passed on 2/04/2022. Richard will lovingly be remembered by his wife Tanya of 22 years; children Andrew and his wife Tiffany, Jacob and Mitchel (Rachel) of the home; grandchildren Andrew Robert Jr., Carson Richard and Brendan Luther; his mother Dixie, sister Charlene Robinson and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends. Richard was proceeded in death by his father lovingly known as Roy. Richard was at first a family man and would tell those around him no matter the situation it was family first every time. He lived by these words and backed these words in his actions. He also was often heard saying not only this phrase but also one team, one fight and we were always one team. Richard dedicated his life to serve others and his community through personal interactions as well as his commitment in his job as both an EMT/paramedic and Law Enforcement Officer spanning over 30 years. Services for Richard Stephens will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Crossings Community Church (14600 N. Portland Ave, OKC) with interment to follow at Mustang Cemetery (Mustang Rd. and Juniper Drive) immediately afterward. Public viewing has been scheduled at McNeil’s Funeral Service on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family has asked in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Mission 22, a charity to help prevent soldier suicide or the local charity which weighs on your heart in his memory and honor.
