Obituary
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Mother Dinah Jean Dick (Nanny) at the age of 80 years at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on January 30th, 2022.
Dinah was born in York Factory on September 21, 1941. She was married to her husband David Dick (Grandpa) for 47 years until his death in 2009.
Dinah leaves to mourn her children: Riel (Irene), Bernice, Barry Roxy, grandchildren: Tara-lynn, Cherylyn, Penny, Shannon, Eugene, Cory, Olivia, Rhaine, Tristan, Taylor, Linda, Becky, Garrett, Margaret, Jenna, Tatum, great grandchildren: Graysen, Kenzley, Kaizen (Whiteman), Mason, Lexa, Darrion, Damien, Payton, Dominic, Drake, Donte, Dayton, Dempsey, Ayden, Ayonnah, Aniyah, Alainley, Alainzley, Aarrion, Aaliyah, Aurora, as well as more family: Sarah Muswagon, Jessie Muswagon, Brenda Wastesicoot, Dora Beardy, Jeff Wastesicoot, George Wastesicoot, Walter, Wastesicoot, Abel Ouskan, Gurty Ouskan, Abel Beardy, Sandy Beardy, Nancy Munroe, Alice Saunders, Mariah Saunders, Joe Beardy, Roderick Ouskan, and many more family and friends too numerous to mention here.
Dinah was predeceased by her parents Alex Ouskun, Alice Ouskun (Nee: Wastesicoot), Caroline Ouskun (nee Oman), children: Brian Dick, Debbie Dick and Darren Dick.
Viewing held on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at Boardman/Northland Funeral Home in Thompson, Manitoba from 1:00-4:00pm.
Funeral Service held on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at St. James Anglican Church in Thompson, Manitoba . Interment to follow at the Thompson Cemetery. Public Health Order capacity restrictions in place.
