MARGARET K.  WALES, (nee Keiter) age 88, recently of Newtown Square, but having lived most of her life in Swarthmore PA, passed away on December 6, 2021.

Teacher and educator, with a PhD in education from Temple University. She spent many years teaching in the Penn Delco school district, first as a reading specialist, and then as the 3rd grade teacher to a generation of Pennell students. After retirement, she continued volunteering with adult literacy programs, and for the children of Chester. 

Beloved wife of the late Walter D. Wales; loving mother of Stephen D. Wales and Carolyn S. Wales. Survived by sister, Mary McCarty and Miriam “Fluff” Soloway, predeceased by brother, Samuel Keiter.

Services and interment private.
