Betty (Roudebush) Hays, of Hidden Valley, passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 67. Betty was born on December 20, 1954, in Cincinnati to Frank and Miriam (Benham) Roudebush. She graduated in 1973, from William Henry Harrison High School. After graduation she attended Miami University to pursue her Nursing degree. Her nursing career took her to many area hospitals: Bethesda North, Bethesda Base, Drake, and St. Elizabeth. Everywhere she worked she shared her beautiful personality with everyone she helped. Betty married Patrick on November 27, 1988, and they were blessed with two children: Hank and Angela. After retired and she chose to fill her time with volunteering. She enjoyed helping at Loveland Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and started a community garden at the church. She loved gardening and helped with Loveland Learning Garden. She was always giving back and helping others. Betty also enjoyed her volunteer time at American Red Cross. Her life revolved around others and in 2016, when she received her ALS diagnosis, she received so much love and support from those near and far. Betty had a strength that was astounding and even during her final days showed how strong she was mentally. She loved with all she had, and she loved so many.

Betty’s many wonderful memories will live on with her loving husband Pat; cherished children: Hank and Angela; dear siblings: Frannie (Jim) Allen and Bud (Peggy) Roudebush; beloved mother-in-law: Anna Hays; brother-in-law: Mike (Sandy) Hays; sister-in-law: Erin (Mark) Fountain and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

A Celebration of Betty's life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Harrison on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 4:30 pm. Following the service, a reception will follow at the church.

The family asks that memorials be made to any of the following charities in Betty's memory. ALS Association, Loveland Presbyterian Church, Harrison First Presbyterian Church.
