Timothy Wade Caldwell Sr, 56, of Sharpsburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on November 21, 1965 to the late Wardie Caldwell and Minnie Sue Denton Caldwell.

Tim was a lifelong self-employed mechanic who enjoyed fishing, drag racing, playing cards and watching football.  He also admired working on old cars and spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two stepsons; Christopher Wayne Purvis and Michael Andrew Purvis, two brothers; David Caldwell and Jimmy Caldwell.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Hunt Caldwell, one son, Timothy Wade Caldwell Jr (Holly) of Frenchburg, Kentucky, one daughter, Melissa Lynn Perry (Jessie) of Sharpsburg, step-daughter, Kimberly Faye Tipton (Jerry Watkins) of Carlisle, Kentucky and granddaughter/daughter, Abigail Michelle Lynn Watkins of Sharpsburg, two brothers; Danny Caldwell (Natalie) of Frankfort, Kentucky and Anthony Caldwell (Tracy) of Morehead, two sisters; Karen Cremeans (Ernie) and Sharon Hurst (Jamie) both of Jackson, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren; Abigail, Angel, Jimmie Jr, Pyper, Annabelle, Timmy III, Trenity, Maddie, JoJo, Destiny, Christian, Brandon, Hannah and Collin.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastors Jeff Fannin and Johnny Baber officiating.

Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers include; Wade Caldwell, Danny Caldwell, Jesse Perry, Tom Gerlaugh, Jerry Watkins and Max Ison.

Honorary Pallbearers include, Duran Jones, Ricky Richmond, Whitney Welch and Amanda Welch.
