Lawrence Slagus
<p>Lawrence Slagus, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in Bayonne to the late Stella (nee: Gesek) and Michael Slagus and was a lifelong resident. He was carpenter for Union #253 and a proud veteran of the armed forces.</p> <p>Mr. Slagus is survived by his dear friend, Barbara Broderick; and many loving family members and extended family members. He was predeceased by his loving siblings, Raymond, Dolores and Lorraine Slagus.</p> <p>The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, February 1, 2021. A funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Henry at 10:45 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday morning prior to the funeral Mass. </p>Obituary
