<p>It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Vera W. Follett of Grand Bank announces her passing. Vera passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, January 27th, 2022, at the age of 78. </p><p><br></p><p>Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Reuben (Ann) of Courtice, ON, Dwayne of Bowmonville, ON, Philip (Marylynn) of Goulds, NL; brothers, Charlie (Audrey), Paul (Louise); sisters, Mildred (Robert), Anne (Wayne), Linda (Dan); grandchildren, Nicole, Gregory, Haileigh; fur-baby, Kailey.; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Vera was predeceased by her husband, Edward Thomas; parents, Lyman &amp; Charlotte Follett; sister, Eleanor Hagan.</p><p><br></p><p>The Follett Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Friday, January 28th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In keeping with the current Covid 19 regulations, this will be a walk through visitation for each household bubble. Proof of vaccination is required on entry. Masks must be worn and each person is asked to please sign the contact tracing sheets. No food is permitted in the building.</p><p><br></p><p>A Private," Immediate Family", Funeral Service will take place at on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at 12:30 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank. Due to the Covid 19 situation the funeral service will be recorded and will be able to be viewed at this site within 24 hours.
