Robert Lee Mallory, Sr., 73, of Duncan, SC passed away Wednesday, January26, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the husband of Edna Betsy Tate Mallory and the son of the late Roosevelt Mallory and Queen Odessa Drummond.

Robert was a graduate of Florence Chapel High School and was retired from Spartanburg Steel Products after thirty- three years of service.

Robert was a longtime member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church where he served in many capacities including Trustee Ministry, the Senior Choir, the All-Male Choir, the Brotherhood, and an Usher.  He was a member of Brothers and Sisters Sympathy Club.

Robert is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Edna Mallory; two sons, Robert Lee Mallory, Jr. and Timothy Keith (Brenda) Mallory; one daughter, Amanda Louise Mallory; four grandchildren, Demetrius Henson, Amelia Mallory, Messiah Mallory, and Tanasia   Mallory; six great-grandchildren; his siblings, Anthony Keith (Jackie) Mallory, Douglas W. (Joyce) Mallory,  Barbara Mallory, Wayne Mallory, Kathryn (Raymond) Carter, Sharon (Mike) Cyrus, Annette Mallory, Cynthia Mallory, Nancy Mallory, Judy (George) Brown, and Lorenzo Mallory; a great-niece reared in the home, Adriana Tate; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Geraldine Jones, Floyd Mallory, Dennis R. Mallory, Aaron E. Drummond, and Melvin Mallory.
