Annie Lee Clinton, 65, of Jacksonville, IL transitioned from this life on, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Annie was born into this life on March 21, 1956, in Crenshaw, MS, the daughter of L.C. and Ruby Lee Clinton. Annie was a graduate of Panola High school. Annie later relocated to Jacksonville, IL where she worked as a home healthcare provider for many years. When Annie was not in her field of work helping people, she was at home helping and loving on her family. She really enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family and her presence will most certainly be missed by all who loved her. Annie leaves not to mourn, but cherish her loving memories 4 loving daughters, Jacqulynn Morrow, Sharon Wills (Terry), Amie Marie Lawrence (Bruce), Latoya Clinton, 5 brothers, Robert E. (Freda) Coppage, Sr., Will (Patty) Clinton, Tommy Clinton, Columbus (Ora) Clinton, and Walter (Main) Sanders, and 2 sisters, Louise Handy, Flora (Marvin) Flora. She also leaves to cherish her memories 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, life-long friend, Willie Lewis-Jackson, Special friend, Robert Eugene Gilliam, and a host of many other family and friends. Annie was preceded in death by both of her parents, 3 brothers, Cleophus Simmons, Leon Clinton, and W.L. Clinton, and 2 daughters, Willie Stine Powell, and Robin Gilliam.
