<p>Robert L. Ealy, 58, of Dunbar, formerly of Butler, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Dunbar.</p> <p>Robert was born in Butler on March 3, 1963.&nbsp; He was the son of Lora Jean Brophy Ealy of Butler and the late Oscar William Ealy.</p> <p>Rob was of the protestant faith.</p> <p>In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Joyce A. Denton and her husband, Herb, of Butler; his niece, Rochelle and her fianc&eacute;, Hakeem Dent; his step brothers and sisters, Kathy Hilliard and her husband, Joe, of Chicora, Jack Claypoole and his wife, Crystal, of Butler, Daryl &ldquo;Boldy&rdquo; Claypoole and his wife, Bonnie, of Butler, and Diana &ldquo;Gidget&rdquo; Everetts of Butler, as well as a number of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p> <p>In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ealy, his stepfather, Charles Claypoole, and his step siblings, Rachel Claypoole Rhinebolt, Charles Claypoole Jr., and Mickey Blystone.</p> <p><strong>Visitation will be held at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from Noon-3 p.m. Thursday.&nbsp; A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd Barnhart, a United Methodist pastor, officiating.&nbsp; Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.&nbsp; Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.</strong></p>

Robert L. Ealy, 58, of Dunbar, formerly of Butler, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Dunbar.

Robert was born in Butler on March 3, 1963.  He was the son of Lora Jean Brophy Ealy of Butler and the late Oscar William Ealy.

Rob was of the protestant faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Joyce A. Denton and her husband, Herb, of Butler; his niece, Rochelle and her fiancé, Hakeem Dent; his step brothers and sisters, Kathy Hilliard and her husband, Joe, of Chicora, Jack Claypoole and his wife, Crystal, of Butler, Daryl “Boldy” Claypoole and his wife, Bonnie, of Butler, and Diana “Gidget” Everetts of Butler, as well as a number of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
