Audry M Girard

Audry M. Girard, 91, of Lisle, passed away January 20, 2022. Beloved wife of Paul D. Girard; loving mother of Susan (the late Richard) Lescher, Dennis (Deborah), Paul (Susan), David (Liz), John, Thomas (Deidre), Mary (Brian) Mulcrone; proud grandmother of Kathleen (John) Sweeney, James (Rebecca) Lescher, Matthew (Amber) Girard, Danielle Girard, Ashley (Daniel) Arroyo, Alexey, Nicholas, Jack, Jennifer, Madeline, Fiona, Grace Girard, Rebecca, Colleen and Rachel Mulcrone and great grandmother of Declan Sweeney, Sarah, Olivia and Audrey Lescher, Ryker Leuer, Nyjah and River Arroyo. Audry was a proud graduate of Northwestern University in 1952. She had her remarkable career in nursing for over 25 years. As if that wasn’t enough, while raising her children, she volunteered much of her time at their various activities at school, church and scouting. Audry continued this in retirement, helping those in need at Resurrection Hospital and Villa St. Benedict. Throughout her entire life, she was an avid Cubs fan who lived to see the Cubs win it all in 2016. She will be remembered for her light and love. Visitation Friday January 28, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 11 a.m. at St. Petronille Catholic Church 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
