Patricia Ann Combe Van Alfen
<p>Patricia Ann Combe Van Alfen, 87, passed away January 25, 2022, in South Ogden, Utah. She was born August 2, 1934, to Jule Combe Senior and Laura Beatrice Parker in Ogden, Utah.</p> <p>Patricia graduated from Ogden High School in 1952. She married Ronald Jerry Van Alfen on October 29, 1952, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ronald passed away on July 17, 2018, they were married 62 years. Patricia served a number of callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; in the Relief Society Presidency, Primary Presidency, Homemaking Leader, and as a missionary in the South Ogden Ward. She enjoyed collecting wind chimes, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading adventure and mystery books. Patricia worked as a Grocery Inventory Specialist for Stop N Shop.</p> <p>She is survived by her children; Janeil (William) Thompson and Jerry (Laura) Van Alfen and Annette Heslop, sister Carol Wiggins, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, in-laws; Marcia (Jerry), Dixon, Neal (Pam) Van Alfen. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald, son Ronnie, grandson Daniel Thompson, son-in-law Andy Heslop, parents Bea & Jule Combe, siblings Virginia Van Woerkam, Jule Combe Jr., Helen Keihm, Maxene Thompson, Clarene Ricketts, Jack Combe, and Duane Combe. </p> <p>Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.</p>Obituary
