Ruth Hoover
RUTH HOOVER, age 92, Mt. Olivet, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Robertson County Healthcare Facility. Born in Floyd County, December 31, 1924, to the late Maynard and Rachel Wicker Hoover, she was a homemaker and a member of Kentontown Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hoover; two brothers, Canie Hoover and Clovis Hoover; a sister, Alfa Hoover and three grandchildren. She is survived by four daughters, Joan (Whitie) Fralix, Brooksville, Brenda (Wayne) Henson, Mt. Olivet, Helen (Jerry) Stewart, Mt. Olivet and Delvon (Tim) Greenlee, Alabama; two brothers, Clyde (Roberta) Hoover, Ohio and Ervell (Ruth) Hoover, Missouri; two sisters, Edith Lewis, Georgia and Martha Himes, Indiana and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Robertson County Funeral Home with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery.
