Valera Sue Johnston

JOHNSTON, Valera Sue - age 55, of Flint, died January 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek, MI 48473.  ( A live stream of the service will be posted to Valera's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, January 28, 2022. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Valera Johnston Memorial Fund. Valera was born August 11, 1966 in Flint, the daughter of Charles V. and Veda (Brock) Sizemore. She worked at Universal (LSI) for over 18 years. Valera enjoyed camping and crocheting. She loved her grand babies and family. Surviving are: husband, John Johnston; children, Mistie (Nick) McLanahan, Michael Mondeau, and Miranda Johnston; seven grandchildren, Leila, Elliana, Lucas, Wyatt, Cameron, Aiden, and Lauren; mother, Veda Sizemore; brother, Christopher Sizemore.
