<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp; Norma Frances (Rodgers) Meisenheimer, 92, of Nevada, MO passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Norma was born July 11, 1929, in Nevada to Fred and Lily (Burford) Rodgers. Lily passed away when Norma was only 18 months old. Lily&rsquo;s sister, Anna Burford, helped to care for Norma until she graduated in 1947 from Sheldon High School.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In 1949, Norma married Ed Meisenheimer. Together they raised seven children.&nbsp; Doug (Lilibeth) Thomas, Donna Moore, Connie Hartline, Dale (Lila) Meisenheimer, all of Nevada, Dick Meisenheimer of Milo, Debbie (Mike) Dahmer of Durango, CO, and Jim (Marcie) Meisenheimer of Oak Grove, MO.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Norma worked for Key Work Clothes in Nevada for 27 years, retiring on June 26, 1992. She made many long lasting friendships during that time.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After retirement, Norma enjoyed helping with sewing and crafts at the Nevada Senior Center making stuffed animals which were donated to Children&rsquo;s Mercy Hospital.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Norma&rsquo;s life was centered around her family and her faith in Jesus Christ. She was an active member of Pentecostal Assembly Church where she made many friends.&nbsp; With her failing health, Norma was not able to attend church but always had her Bible close to read every day.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lily Rodgers, Aunt Anna Burford, Ed Meisenheimer, and an infant brother, Ray Rodgers. Sisters in Christ:&nbsp; Carol Chapman, Fuku VerSteeg, and Betty Million. She is survived by her seven children; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren;11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a lot of family and friends. &nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Debbie Gilbert officiating. Norma will be laid to rest at Moore Cemetery close to her parents at a later date.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Memorials are suggested to the Nevada Animal Shelter c/o Ferry Funeral Home.</span></span></p>

     Norma Frances (Rodgers) Meisenheimer, 92, of Nevada, MO passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Norma was born July 11, 1929, in Nevada to Fred and Lily (Burford) Rodgers. Lily passed away when Norma was only 18 months old. Lily’s sister, Anna Burford, helped to care for Norma until she graduated in 1947 from Sheldon High School.

     In 1949, Norma married Ed Meisenheimer. Together they raised seven children.  Doug (Lilibeth) Thomas, Donna Moore, Connie Hartline, Dale (Lila) Meisenheimer, all of Nevada, Dick Meisenheimer of Milo, Debbie (Mike) Dahmer of Durango, CO, and Jim (Marcie) Meisenheimer of Oak Grove, MO.
