Larry Lee Dennis Obituary

Larry Lee Dennis, 86, of Nashport, Ohio, gained his Eternal Reward Saturday, January 22, 2022. Larry was born August 21, 1935 to the late Charles and Blanche Dennis. In addition to his parents, Larry is also preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Eleanor Dennis; three brothers, Bernard, Charles (Mary Jane) and Lynn Dennis; father and mother-in-law, Earl and Mary Moore; sister-in-law, Pat Wyatt; brother-in-law, John Moore; and son-in-law, Thomas Greiner.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved children, Barbara (Kenny) Chevalier, Brenda Greiner and Brian (Janet) Dennis; grandchildren, Heather (Greg) Shafer, Donny (Giovanna) Hicks, Kenny Chevalier, Danielle (Adam) Evanshine and Brian Michael (Jamie) Dennis; great-grandchildren, Laken (Tyler) Bay, Landen and Lauren Shroyer, Alex, Nathan and Katie Hicks, Ace Evanshine and Gabriella Hicks; great-great granddaughter, Stella Bay, as well as a great-great granddaughter soon to join the family; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dennis; several nieces and nephews; his church family of Norval Park Church of Christ; as well as other relatives and friends.
Larry was an avid sports fan. He loved rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns football teams. Larry was also a supporter of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his younger days, Larry enjoyed playing softball as well as bowling. He especially loved the opportunities he had to coach basketball with his son, Brian. 
Larry dedicated over 30 years of employment to Borden's Dairy before retiring to care for his wife. Larry was a faithful member of the Norval Park Church of Christ, where he enjoyed leading the congregation in song and was a follower of Christ. Above all else, Larry enjoyed his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild, and cherished time spent with them. He will be deeply missed. 
Per the family's wishes cremation has been chosen and a memorial service in Larry's honor will be held at a later date. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
