<p>Martin, Marian Belle - Age 92, of Flint Township, died January 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 29 at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek, Pastor Tara Sutton officiating. (The funeral may be viewed by livestream on Marian&#39;s page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 PM Friday, January 28,&nbsp; and from 1 PM Saturday until the time of the service Saturday January 29. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Marian was born January 6, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Donald and Remona Belle (Wells) Weaver. She married Garnet Wells Martin on April 9, 1949. He preceded her in death November 10, 2008. Marian was a homemaker. She was a member of the Halsey United Methodist Church and also First Wesleyan Church. Marian was a Cub Scout leader and was active in children&#39;s lives and their activities. The family had an 80 acre farm in Gladwin and opened it for football training for the Bendle Tigers. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed making her grandchildren&#39;s and great-grandchildren&#39;s clothing. Marian was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Gloria (Dale) Bujak of Flint Township, Gary (Debbie) Martin of Otisville, Gail (Russell) Malott of Traverse City, Nancy (Gaylord) Forshee of Flint Township; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Donald Weaver of Missouri; sister, Grace Barr of Clio; sister-in-law, Shirley Weaver of Flint; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard (Lenda) Martin of Grand Blanc; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara (Howard) Eddy of Linden; several nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents;&nbsp; husband Garnet Martin; sister-in-law Janet Weaver; sister, Viola (Norman)&nbsp; Rhoads; brothers, Theodore Weaver and Herbert Weaver; brother-in-law German Barr; and son-in-law Fred Young.
