<p><strong>Nancy Castor Morton</strong>, 70 of the Enochville Community died Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a period of declining health.</p> <p>She was born March 20, 1951, in Rowan Co., the daughter of the late Edmund and Rosie Castor. Nancy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronnie Morton of the home and her son Eddie Morton (Sarah) of Kannapolis.</p> <p>Nancy was a lifelong area resident, graduating from S. Rowan High School in 1969, and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. She worked for Ruehlen Plumbing Supplies as secretary for Billing and Invoices until she retired. Nancy had the gift of exhortation and was always sending encouraging cards to those that needed to be uplifted. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.</p> <p>A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 26 at Central Baptist Church with Reverends Dean Hunter, Curtis Parker and Dennis Morgan officiating.
