Audrey Jane Harmon Sutphin, 79, wife of James “Jim” Garland Sutphin, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born November 9, 1942, in Tapoco, NC, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Harmon and the late Nora Whitehead Hoback. She was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years; two daughters, Sandee Sutphin of Charleston and Melanie McAfee of Sumter; two granddaughters, Amber Kellum and Molee Richardson (Adam); two great-grandchildren, Penelope Miller and Micah Richardson; a sister, Nora Lea Harmon of Sumter; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating.
Memorials may be made to Crosswell Baptist Church, 604 Mathis St., Sumter, SC 29150.
