It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Nicholas J. Del Pizzo, Jr. of Bryn Mawr, on January 22, 2022 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas J. Del Pizzo, Sr. and his mother, Martha (nee Heslip) Del Pizzo. Nick was the loving husband of Maryann (nee Scully) Del Pizzo, devoted father of Nicholas J. Del Pizzo III "Jay" (Kali) and David S. Del Pizzo (Carla) and cherished grandfather of Olivia and Sofia. Brother of Jack (Arlene) and James (Anne), brother-in-law of John Scully (Mary), nephew of Raymond and Jean Heslip and loyal friend to many. Nick is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Nick enjoyed many years with his family at his home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and summers in Avalon, New Jersey. An avid Eagles and Phillies fan who enthusiastically attended games with his sons. Nick was a long time member and past president of Main Line Italian American Civic Association Brookline Football and Haverford Township Little League Coach Quarter Master for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 843 Member of American Legion Post 0667 Member of The Michael J. Fox Foundation Services will be held at a later date.
