Peggy "Joyce" Daniels

<p>Lifelong resident of Goodland, Peggy Joyce Daniels, age 90, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at Goodland Regional Medical Center.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joyce was born January 25, 1931 to Harry M. and Dora Dell (Carter) Long in Goodland.&nbsp; She grew up and went to school in Goodland and graduated from Sherman County High School in 1949.&nbsp; On July 30, 1950 Joyce married James L. Daniels.&nbsp; Joyce enjoyed raising her four children and their families, keeping abreast of their lives and activities.&nbsp; She worked at the Goodland Greenhouse doing floral design and owner of Pleasures &amp; Treasures for 10 years, teaching knitting, quilting and needle crafts.&nbsp; Through the years she did many clothing alterations and sewing for others.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Tillis; and sister, Joan.</p> <p>Joyce is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Lynn (Rob) Jacobs of Wichita, KS; sons, David (Judy) of Goodland and Jeff (Judi) of Overland Park, KS; 7 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren; and many more families and friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Joyce Daniels Memorial Fund to go towards a bench at the new Topside Manor and may be left at the service or sent in care of Bateman Funeral Home, P.O.
