Omar suddenly passed away at home on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

He will be joining his grandparents and cousins in heaven.

Omar is survived by his mom and dad Alfredo Gonzales and Carol Padilla-Gonzales, grandma Eutema Gonzales and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was born in July and really didn’t want to leave his mother’s womb as his mom carried him for 10 months before he was born. Omar helped his dad with construction/remodeling work and he was also a server at many restaurants. He loved music was a musician and played the drums.  Omar graduated from Valley High School and attended St. Mary's school from kindergarten to eighth grade. Omar took a semester at the community college in Auburn, Maine, and also attended TVI/CNM. He most enjoyed the culinary arts classes. He played basketball, baseball, and football, and golf. He excelled in golf and most enjoyed playing with his father. He had a great personality, kind-hearted, loving.  

He is much loved and will be greatly missed.

Omar's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church located at 4020 Lomas Blvd NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 11:30am. Mass will begin at 12:00 pm. Omar will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Geno Higgins, David Lueras, Michael Gonzales, Henry Geffrione, Robbie Lopez, Jeremy Chavez, Adam Silva and Toby Padilla

Honorary pallbearers will be his family and friends.
