Carol Rosimae Pye

Carol Rosimae Pye, age 67, of Hollis, Arkansas, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to sing with the angels, Saturday, January 15, 2022. Carol was a devoted wife and mother for nearly 50 years, as well as a loving and cherished grandmother. She was a member of the Hollis Jesus Name Pentecostal Church and their faithful accordion player and singer. She loved to crochet blankets for new babies, read, and look at jewelry. She was a fan of JTV and Christian television, both preaching and music. She was a Christian role model for her grandchildren and was always willing to listen. She was a beautiful woman who will be missed. Carol is preceded in death by her mother, Lurlene Humphreys, and her father, James Humphreys. Survivors include her husband, Art Pye, her daughter and son-in-law, Christyl and Chris Rowland, her son and daughter-in-law Matt and Heidi Pye, her brother, Ben Humphreys, her granddaughters, Alexis Rowland, Aleena Rowland, and Madilyn Pye, and grandsons Hunter Pye and Nicholas Pye. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 21 at Caruth Village Funeral Home. A celebration of Carol’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22 at Hollis Jesus Name Pentecostal Church with Rev. Richard Humphreys and Bro. Matthew Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Nooner Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeremy Wells, Kevin Chambers, Herbert Jones, Bryan Darnell, Izzy Mendez, Greg Crawford, and Monty Crawford.
