After a long fight with cancer, Lynne passed away with her kids and her best friend Debbie Hewitt by her side on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the age of 71 years.

Left to carry her light are her son Justin Lavallee with granddaughters Claire and Camryn; daughter Tanis (Quentin) Gardiner with grandchildren Sarah and Max; mother Evelyn Higgins; siblings Danny (Linda), Laurie Smith, Allan (Shirley) Sokolosky, Terry (Ingrid) Sokolosky and Leanne Rivet; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She was predeceased by her father Demer Sokolosky and brother Blaine Sokolosky.

Lynne was a beautiful person inside and out.  She was unselfish, generous and very caring.  During her fight with cancer she finally found the courage and strength to take care of herself.

Cremation has taken place, the family will celebrate Lynne’s life at a later date.
