Craig W. McFadden Plymouth, Wisconsin Obituary

Craig W. McFadden

Craig W. McFadden, age 70, of Plymouth, Wisconsin, passed away January 15, 2022. Craig was born on February 17, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his loving parents, William “Bill” and Elsie “Betty” (Peckman) McFadden. Craig had a brother, Kevin, and a sister, Heather. Craig spent his early childhood in Menasha before moving to Glendale where he attended Nicolet High School and graduated in [rock!] 1969. After graduation, Craig continued his education and his passion for music in the Milwaukee area. Craig moved to and fell in love with Northern California. He lived in Napa for years and found the most peace and joy in Yosemite National Park and the San Francisco area. Craig was blessed with many great friendships and memories that he always held close to his heart. Craig met Heidi in 1986. After three weeks he asked her to marry him, and finally, on December 8th, 1989, they tied the knot. They were married for 32 years. Craig dedicated his career to helping others—from working with at-risk youth to people with disabilities. While working at RCS for 24 years, he met many wonderful people throughout the Sheboygan community and was involved with many non-profits. Craig was very proud of being involved as a board member with HearthStone, Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce, and Horizons4Girls, to name a few. Craig was the “brainchild” behind “Come Together”, an event held in Sheboygan aimed at celebrating diversity, and was honored as Sheboygan Press People of the Year in 2017 for being the driving force behind Come Together. Craig was very passionate about his family and music. His granddaughters brought him great joy and he was always ready with a picture to show his friends how they were growing. He loved the time he spent with them. His passion for music was a constant in his life. From being in the band Split Rock that played at Summerfest to jamming in the living room with his family, Craig always brought the joy of music to those around him. We will be forever grateful for these special moments and memories. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Kevin, father-in-law Raymond Indermuehle, and mother-in-law Ethel Indermuehle. He is survived by his wife Heidi; his six children, Jennifer McFadden, Jessica Bromley, Christopher McFadden, Mitchell McFadden, Kali (Fiancé Jon Palmer) Faber, and Kyle (Missy) Faber; sister Heather (Tom) Barrie; grandchildren Della, Lainey, Kaleb, Olivia; mother-in-law Darlene; sisters and brothers-in-law Steve (Stella), Scot (Maaria), Todd (Linda), Lori (Scott), Andy, and Amy (Jeff). Niece and nephews Erin, Nick, and William; beloved canine companions Leroy & Max. He is further survived by many extended family members and close friends. Craig’s family would like to extend a special thank you to his healthcare team, Dr. Kream & Melissa RN, the amazing team from Pulmonary/Cardiac Rehab; Stephanie & team with Aurora PT; Kelly, Tonya and Nicole from Sharon S. Richardson. Additionally, a heartfelt thanks to close friends Randy, Jon, Dave and Jane. A time for friends and family to gather and celebrate Craig’s life will be held on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:30 PM. Celebration with music and storytelling from 1:00-3:00 PM at Generations, 1500 Douglas Drive, Plymouth, WI 53073. Chaplain Marianne Brandt will officiate. All these places have their moments, with lovers and friends I still recall, some are dead and some are living, in my life, I’ve loved them all.”
