Mr. George William “Billy” Ammons passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Viewing and Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, January 22, at Gassett Funeral Home in Wetumpka.

Billy is survived by his parents, George William “GW” Ammons, Sr., and Sara Ellen Ammons; daughters, Taylor Ammons, and Tara Dale; stepdaughter, Alison (Devin) Myers; granddaughter, Paxton Myers; sister, Cindy (Stephen) Piatt; aunt, Jackie Ramires; uncle, Robert (Marsha) Ammons; niece Haley (Robert) Harrod; nephew, Tyler Piatt; great nephew, Hayden Harrod; great niece, Harleigh Harrod; fiancé’, Kelley Roy (and her daughter Sheridan and sisters); cousins, Jessie Wingard and Jamie Wingard; former wife, Ashley May, and a host of other relatives and friends.
