Edward F. Steeves Sr

Edward F. Steeves, Sr. passed away January 16, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born July 7, 1944 in New Brunswick, Canada he was the son of Frank O. and Edith (Cogswell) Steeves. Edward served in the US Army from 1965 to 1968 and worked in productions at Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 33 years. He was a member of the UAW Local 636 and the Masons. Edward enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, crafts, and playing euchre.<br/><br/>Edward is survived by his wife Pauline (Lenz) Steeves; children Edward Steeves Jr., Crysta (Edward) Walczak, and JJ (Carrie) Grembowicz; grandchildren Robert, Samantha (Ken), Sean, Ashlee, Emily, and Hunter; great grandchildren Sophia, Skylar, Mila, and Everli; siblings Peggy Taylor, Beth Gogan, and late Theodore and Judith Steeves; several nieces and nephews.<br/><br/>Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 21st from 4-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. The Masonic Service will be held at 6:30 PM. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
