          Ms. Linda Kay Teal Ammons, age 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  

 

          Due to COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. We also ask all guests and family members attending visitations and services to please continue social distancing and if desired to bring and wear a mask. In an abundance of caution, the family respectfully requests no visitors at the home during this time.

 

          Ms. Ammons was born July 12, 1952 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Ben and May Belle Wilks Teal. She was a former employee of Chesterfield Convalescent Center and enjoyed attending Chesterfield County Community Church and FreeWorship. Linda enjoyed cooking and was a talented baker. She also enjoyed playing games on her phone and talking with her friends. A lady with a heart of gold, Linda was loved by everyone.

 

          In addition to her parents, Ms. Ammons was also preceded in death by her uncle, James Wilks; and brothers, Billy Teal and Jimmy Teal.

 

          Survivors include her daughter, Sherri (Gene) Boatwright of Cheraw, SC; fur grandpuppies, Gracee and Ella; great grandpuppies, Princess & Rambo; extended family and close friends, Timmy Creech, Teresa Crawford (Lloyd) Pearce and their family, Teresa Walker McIntyre and family, Danny Walker, Susan Noehl and family, Sara Roscoe and family, Ann Griggs and family, and Nancie Freeman and family; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins including special cousin, Carolyn Mickleberry and family
