Cunningham, Barry Dwight – age 63, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 14, 2022. He was born in Yarmouth on March 27, 1958, and was the son of the late Herbert and Kathryn (Nickerson) Cunningham. In his younger years, Barry followed in his families' footsteps and was a commercial fisherman before more recently being a night watchman at the Yarmouth Bar. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved duck hunting, bass fishing, and deer hunting. Above all else, he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He always made sure to keep in touch with his friends, especially Matt Cottreau and Donovan Cunningham. Barry was also a lover of food, which brought him great comfort. He is survived by his brother, Grant (Lillian) Cunningham, Deerfield; sisters, Judy Bain, New Minas, Janice (Larry) Doucette, South Ohio; and many nieces and nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held June 10, 2022 from 2-4 p.m at the South Ohio Community Hall located at 307 Lake George Road. . www.sweenysfuneralhome.net Interment will be in Chebogue Cemetery.
