Beulah M. Carter Obituary

BARNSTEAD- Beulah M. Carter went to join her husband in heaven on January 12, 2022.

Beulah was born the daughter of Reginald and Sarah (Tebbetts) Sargent on May 22, 1933 in Concord, NH. She was a graduate of Concord High in 1951. Beulah married David F. Carter on June 24, 1952. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together before David’s passing on July 14, 2016.

Beulah spent most of her life as a homemaker in Chichester NH. When her children were young, she taught kindergarten at Chichester Town Hall for a few years. In later years she became an avid shopper. She loved buying for others, especially those in need. In recent years her shopping was mainly confined to QVC (so if you own stock , SELL SELL SELL).  She donated to several organizations near and far. She enjoyed knitting baby hats, sewing bibs, burp cloths and blankets for family and friends or anyone that could use them.  Beulah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially summers down at the lake with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beulah is survived by twelve children: Susan (Philip) Bassett of Newnan, GA,  Richard “Willie” (Brenda) Carter of Center Barnstead, NH,  Robert “Bob” (Bonnie) Carter of Concord, NH,  Jayne (Robert) Crevier of Concord, NH,  Reginald “Reg” (Carol) Carter of North Bangor, NY, David (Kathy) Carter of Center Barnstead, NH,  Deane (Melissa) Carter of Malone, NY,  Kathleen Carter of Dayton, OH,  Glenda (John) Cusano of Concord, NH,  Daniel Carter of Center Barnstead, NH,  Dawn Carter-Little of Eugene, OR and Lucas Carter of Meredith, NH. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, a sister Roberta “Berta” Pratt of Center Barnstead, NH, nieces, nephews and very dear friends Sylvia, Naomi, Donna and Leona. Beulah will be greatly missed and will forever be in the hearts of those that loved her.

There will be no services at this time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Beulah’s honor to the Barnstead Parade Congregational Church at PO Box 57 Barnstead, NH 03218.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home in Epsom.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
